Each of our designs, with or without diamonds, tells a unique story without sacrificing the timeless simplicity that characterises KUBINI.

Bespoke wedding rings: our process
We’ve been known to say that selecting wedding rings is a lot like finding your true love. You realise your dream step by step, from the first meeting to the moment you put the rings on each other’s fingers. For each couple that comes to us, we approach your rings’ design as a unique project, deserving of commitment, creativity and quality. We will meet multiple times and take all the time we need to achieve this.
Initial consultation
During your initial consultation, you will mainly be looking around and trying things on.That’s because jewels make a different impression in real life than they do in pictures, and only truly come to life on your hand. During this first date, we will listen as you tell us your story and wishes and explore your preferences together.
Design
We will go to work on your chosen designs, personalising them to fit your preferences or creating an entirely new design based on your personal dreams. Our digital design process allows us to present you with a highly accurate 3D visualisation of your rings’ ultimate appearance. It is also possible to determine the final price at this stage.
Second consultation
We meet once more to go over the developed designs together and tweak them as needed. We also decide on details such as the inscription, finish and choice of material.We don’t rush, but work with care and respect. A design isn’t done until it gives you instant thrills!
Creating your rings
Head over heels? We can start making your rings. First, we create a 3D print of your wedding rings in wax, after which we cast them in gold or platinum using the time-honoured ‘lost wax’ technique. We then hand-finish your rings in our studio in Antwerp.
Pick-up
Le moment suprême. A few weeks before your big day, you visit our studio in Antwerp to collect the rings you’ll soon be putting on each other’s fingers.
Aftercare
Our service doesn’t stop when you pick up your rings. We are happy to provide you with an extensive care guide to ensure that your jewellery continues to shine as brightly as your love.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about wedding rings
Yes, engraving your rings is no problem. We will integrate the inscription in the 3D print, ensuring beautifully sharp results. It’s traditional to have wedding rings engraved with your first names and the date, but feel free to think out of the box. A suitable quote, your favourite song lyrics, the place you met… Anything is possible!
The difference between 14 and 18 carats is the percentage of pure gold. 18 carat gold is 18 out of 24 parts gold and is yellower and warmer in appearance – if you pick yellow gold, that is. Rose gold will look best at 18 carats, for instance. 14 carat gold contains a lower percentage of gold, making it somewhat more affordable, but also more resistant to wear and with its own quality appeal.
After we’ve agreed on and approved your design or you’ve ordered a piece from our online shop, actually making your jewellery will take another three or four weeks.
Timing is key. Especially for wedding rings. You should count on three months for pieces from our collection, or four to five months for a new design.

After that, make an appointment for an initial consultation at our studio to try out a few designs and discuss what you’re dreaming of. Make your appointment at least three months in advance for pieces from our collection or four to five months for a fully bespoke design.
Are you coming by public transport? From the Antwerp city centre, take tram 10 towards Wijnegem and get off at the ‘Cogelsplein’ stop. Coming by car? You can park around the corner on Rodekruisplein or use the West Rivierenhof parking garage.
Our studio is located on Turnhoutsebaan 9, 2100 Deurne.
Visits to our studio in Antwerp are by appointment only. Appointments are possible every Friday and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Are these times inconvenient? Get in touch and we’ll figure out an alternative together.
